She was born in Trento, Italy, and has loved books since she was a child. She always wanted to be an artist. She has a degree in Fine Arts with a Major in Illustration from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, California. Claudia has also lived in London and now resides in Auckland, New Zealand with her husband and their two dogs.
