Getting your derby car to steer straight is a critical speed adjustment and it is the most challenging thing to accomplish. We have personally spent hours making adjustments to straight-steering cars for the best performance. If your car does not steer straight, the wheels hit the guide rails, causing your car to lose valuable speed.

Usage:
Replace one of your front axles with the PRO Steering Axle oriented so the screwdriver slot is vertical (straight up and down).
Gently turn the axle with a screwdriver to make that wheel steer left or right until your car rolls straight for 6 to 8 feet.
It’s as easy as that! You can also use the steering axle to create a rail rider car.

Please note: You only need a slight 1.5 degree bend to steer your wheels.
The 1.5 degree bend is a very slight bend that you cannot see with the naked eye.
However, if you roll the bent axle on a flat surface, you will see that it does not roll smoothly compared to an unbent axle.
