A UW-Milwaukee graduate, he taught English for 27 years in Milwaukee Public Schools, often incorporating his love for music into lessons. Now, Kidd delights students as a substitute teacher, bringing his conga drum into the classroom to sing and play his silly songs, with "Bongo Congo" being a fan-favorite. When he's not teaching, Kidd enjoys drumming in local classic rock bands, a hobby he started in 8th grade
