This time, Emily and Jake travel to the 1850s and meet Harriet Tubman. Ms. Tubman was on her way North with slaves she had freed.. It was a dangerous trip. They could not be discovered and she told Emily and Jake they must go with them. The kids were afraid they may hae to walk go all the way to Canada. But, they are supposed to be home by dark.
