‘Poems by Nikki’ is an original compilation of God inspired poems written for others. The poems cover a variety of events from weddings to funerals, to pastor appreciations. With a distinctive voice all her own, the author puts her heart on paper in such a way that it evokes an emotional response from the reader. Words are powerful and paint a portrait of our inner selves. Journey along with the author as she takes you through special moments immortalized through her poetry. Nichole Smith is a native of Rocky Mount, NC. Her passions are in music, writing plays, poetry and working with children with developmental delays. Nichole is an active member of Christ Gospel Church and a Pen of a Ready Society member. She loves every aspect of writing. Smith's mother instilled a love for reading in her as a child. An ardent love for writing manifested in 11th grade. Writing is her opportunity to let others visualize God's conception. She seeks to glorify God and point others towards Christ through her work. Four of her plays have been performed in Christ Gospel Church of Elkton, Md.
