Los protagonistas de esta historieta son los hermanos Oliver y Mya, quienes se encuentran realizando un paseo en globo junto con su amigo Jorge. De pronto, una tormenta eléctrica los aleja de la ruta prevista y los arrastra hasta una isla que parece desierta. Allí encuentran un extraño mapa que conduce a un tesoro. De esta forma se inicia una peligrosa odisea en la cual abundarán los riesgos y los misterios. Muy pronto los chicos descubrirán que no están solos en aquella isla, pues el lugar está habitado por un grupo de vikingos, los cuales han construido un fuerte y toman a nuestros héroes como prisioneros. Pero en la isla hay también otros peligros, entre ellos un feroz felino dientes de sable y un malvado villano llamado Octavian, quien no descansará hasta apoderarse del mapa. Jack Chabert is a game designer for Poptropica, the creator and author of Eerie Elementary, and, writing under a different name, the author of more than 25 titles including licensed books for Adventure Time , Regular Show , Uncle Grandpa , and Steven Universe . Chabert lives in New York with his wife.  Kory Merritt co-creator of Poptropica comics, started cartooning and illustrating while attending SUNY Brockport. His weekly comic strip Brockport Chronicled won the John Locher Memorial Award for cartooning. He is also the author of the online comic strip The Lost Side of Suburbia and the upcoming illustrated series The Dreadful Fate of Jonathan York. Merritt lives in Hammondsport, New York, where he teaches art for grades K–6.
