How to know your tire diameter? Please refer to below two methods:
- Measure the diameter from the bottom to the top of the tire.
- Calculate your tire diameter by this arithmetic.
If your tire is written with 235/65R17,
Then A=235 B=65 C=17.
Tire diameter=A*B/500+C*2.54=235*65/500+17*2.54=73.73cm
So 15 in cover will fit 235/65R17.
(70cm< 73.73cm<74cm)
