Pride is an abomination to God. It is clear we have the tendency to underestimate the power and destruction of pride. Although pride can be good it can also be a silent killer when we allow it to consume us. It can be a silent killer and rarely shows up alone. It usually will silently creep in with vanity, un-forgiveness, fear and other negative emotions. It comes to leave lasting damage, destroy and kill if we allow it. Pride has no control over us unless we allow it. Humility is a super power. When humility is allowed to operate, pride can be defeated. It is when we surrender to the Holy will of God in His strength we can defeat pride. Our failure to do so can result in death of self and relationships most dear to us.
