This strike can also be used on XOX swing-in casement windows, where "X" inch are active panels and "O" inch is fixed The stamped steel rim strike can be used on single swing-in casements, paired swing-in casements, XOX swing-in casements or any other combination of swing-in casements where there is a jamb or mullion to affix strike The rectangular mortise strike is for use on push-out casements, and it mounts to the inside, vertical edge of the jamb, where the lock often acts as a pull handle when closing the push-out casement window.
