Overview: Meesa is keen on being a proper princess, and she knows this involves much more than the clothes she adorns. Lucky for Meesa, she is in possession of a recipe card that details what qualities/traits a proper princess embodies. However, Meesa discovers that it is quite tricky to behave exactly like a princess would. Even so, she is motivated to work hard to be as much like a princess as possible. Meet Meesa: A meerkat with a little sass, a bit of luck, and a whole lot of determination. From the Author: Meesa is a relatable character because she struggles with many of the things most children do, such as sharing, being kind to siblings, being patient, and minding one's manners. Important values are weaved into the storyline, but children will feel less like they are being taught important lessons and more like they are on an inspired adventure alongside Meesa and her younger sister, Millie. The family unit is additionally highlighted throughout the story, as is the relationship between siblings.
