It is simple and easy to install, and all you have to do is unscrew and screw to replace this your existing handle, making it a great option for anyone looking for a trash can handle replacement. It has a blind mount with a 90-degree clockwise rotation and helps make replacing your current tee handles a quick task.
This handle is compatible and fits both your bottom hinged door, and or side hinged chute intake doors.
It fits 95% of all chute doors in the industry, and is typically considered to be a Midland Chutes style handle but it fits other manufacturers like Acme Chutes, Action Chutes , American Chute Systems, Century Chutes, Chutes Doctor , Chutes International , Cutler Chutes, Midland Metalcraft Chutes, US Chutes , Valiant Chutes, Western Chutes, and much more.
You will get the items you see in the photos. To make sure you have an exact fit, we recommend removing the current handle you have on your door, and making sure the copper piece behind the handle has that V Shape or what some people call a V Spindle or Half Moon.
The mounting holes on the escutcheon plate are 1-1/2 inches apart as per the diagram in one of the photos. It is universal, but measure it from center of hole to center of hole to be 100% certain.
This assembly DOES NOT come with the backset tubular slam bolt latch, but you can purchase that separately if needed, or buy our complete kit that comes with the tubular latch. You will also receive two keys that are always keyed alike with the code CH751. This CH751 code covers 95% of the industry.
You will also receive bonus screws that are compatible for these handles & doors. You can always use the current screws that are on your rubbish chute or linen chute door if they are different.
