LAUGHTER, EMPOWERMENT, COMFORT, RELEASE . . . is what this poetry delivers! A collection of rhymes for troubling times; reaching out to the weary with a virtual hug! From poems about sleep to murderous sheep! It’s an eclectic mix of sincerity, sentiment, satire and silliness, served up as three “facets of life”: LIFE, LOVE, LAUGHTER . Share in the joy and sorrow, or re-live your own! Puzzle at the twisted, dark humour of drunken Santas & Hollywood Hookers! Life’s a roller-coaster of ups and downs, smiles and frowns. So take a ride in rhyme! This is the second poetry collection from British Indie Horror film maker/actress, Claire Fluff Llewellyn. Her first book: 'LOVE is a KILLER', is geared toward the horror genre whilst this collection is non specific, (though a smattering of horror is thrown in just for fun). A mix of non-fiction and fiction, using mostly metered rhyme, but occasionally experimenting outside of those constraints. Just like life, it's heartfelt, meaningful, but gets a little weird in places! "'Unpretentious rhymes for our times. Many moods...Often witty" - James A. - Amazon customer "This second collection of the wit and wisdom of Claire Llewellyn is a marvelous book." - Keenan W. Powell - Amazon customer "Profoundly clever wording which readers can relate to and empathise with." - Queen Bea - U.K. Amazon customer Claire "Fluff" Llewellyn is a British writer/poet/actress. She was inspired at an early age by the darkly humorous poetry of Roald Dahl, & later Edgar Allan Poe. In her late teens/early twenties she wrote lyrics & sang with local rock bands & it was music which lead her to move to the USA.Whilst exploring all creative opportunities, Llewellyn became an assistant to a Gothic illusionist, leading to her involvement in the indie horror community. It wasn't long before she turned her writing skills to script writing & making/starring in her own movies. She has released several films under her company 'Bloody Brit Productions'. She has also appeared on screen in various indie & major productions. It wasn't until later in life that she decided to publish some of her poetry, which she had previously deemed too personal, adding new content to expand her collection. Her style is traditional rhyme, with a lyrical flow & sometimes humour. Although her favourite genre is horror, no subject is out of bounds & she likes to mix fiction with real life.
