This stator has a rectangular 4-pins plastic connector and only replaces OEM 3087168. The other possible OEM is 3086984. There are two stators possible for the 2004 Polaris Sportsman 400 model. This stator has 12 poles. For Polaris Series 10 Ranger 2003, this stator only fits model code #A10RD50AA. For Polaris Series 11 Ranger 2004, this stator only fits OEM 3087168 and models built after 8/09/02.
