They feel like the rags that they sleep on in the closet. The way they overcome these obstacles has a frightening twist. One sister becomes very dark, sexual, and secretive. There is crime, mystery, horror, and murder. There are low points and high points for the girls, and you can’t help but cheer them on. Even as you see that some of their actions are very, very wrong. I was a Correctional RN in maximum prisons for years and I encountered some of the most dangerous and famous criminals in the United States. One serial killer told me that one of her victims got loose and she had to chase him down and finish stabbing him, so he wouldn't suffer. I found the female prisoners to be the most cunning and evil. I have one book, "The Girls," that was published in 2011 and a script 'Behind the Walls' that was written and pitched for TV by Emmy Winning Producer, John Murphy. This book is about women in prison. Shelley Starrett gave me a lot of input for my character 'Jake.' This book gave me many nightmares and the sisters tell me they are not done. I already know what Rose's next move is and it's hard to comprehend, but I must write it down.
