Year – 1969 Bands – Led Zeppelin, Grand Funk Railroad Venue – Cleveland Public Hall Led Zeppelin played to a packed house at Cleveland Public Hall on October 24, 1969. This was the second time in Northeast Ohio that year and their album “Led Zeppelin II” had just came out. It was billed as “A Scorpion Exposition” and people were supposed to bring a blanket and dancing was encouraged but Cleveland Fire and Police made the promoters put seating on the Public Hall floor at the last minute. Opening the show was Grand Funk Railroad.
