This book of Poetry by Etta H. Bond was inspired by certain events that occurred in her life. The poem Reaching New Heights came about as a result of a poetry contest that she entered and was thrilled to have won third place. It doesn't matter how young or old you are, always strive to discover your purpose, and work diligently towards fulfilling that purpose. If there are hurdles to overcome, setbacks to recover from, persistence will guide you to victory.
