Color ranges include orange-red to red-purple to aubergine to blue when the pH value is between 1-8. It’s red when the pH value is between 1 and 6 (this is the normal color of the powder).

The solution becomes blue above pH 7!

The color of the solution in an acidic medium will not fade under light and is highly temperature stable which makes it perfect for various uses in the kitchen!
