This book is the sequel to the #1 best seller anthology, “Unlock Your Hidden Treasure: It’s Time to Shine!” It’s important to unlock your purpose, your gifting, and your assignment, which can be your hidden treasure. However, in life, I’ve learned from experience, as well as being an observant coach, that there’s a tendency for people to ‘unlock’ and acknowledge their purpose and yet will stand at the threshold of knowing their purpose and for whatever reason, will not walk in their calling. To me, that’s just as harmful as not knowing your purpose! To unlock your ‘hidden treasure’ is like a discovery of yourself, and you realize what makes you unique. Notwithstanding, to make a difference in your own life, as well as making a difference in the world, people need to release and walk unapologetically in their calling, their assignment, or purpose. These nine amazing authors did exactly that! They are releasing their greatness; they are releasing their influence and impact to make a difference in their tribe, communities, and even the world. They are world changers! If you notice on the book cover that the door is wide open to indicate no more holding back on your purpose but to continue to shine. When we release our God-given gifts and use the authority God has given to us to release our calling, our assignment, or our hidden treasure, there’s power in releasing! It will not just benefit us alone; it’s like a domino effect because others will benefit also. When we release our hidden treasure, we will give Him glory, we will be fulfilled and blessed, and other people will receive a breakthrough because you have impacted and changed their life. That’s the power in releasing our gifts. My reference for Release Your Hidden Treasure is from the Gospel, John 11:33-44 (NIV) 33 When Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who had come along with her also weeping, he was deeply moved in spirit and troubled. 34 “Where have you laid him?” he asked. “Come and see, Lord,” they replied. 35 Jesus wept. 36 Then the Jews said, “See how he loved him!” 37 But some of them said, “Could not he who opened the eyes of the blind man have kept this man from dying?” 38 Jesus, once more deeply moved, came to the tomb. It was a cave with a stone laid across the entrance. 39 “Take away the stone,” he said. “But, Lord,” said Martha, the sister of the dead man, “by this time there is a bad odor, for he has been there four days.” 40 Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?” 41 So they took away the stone. Then Jesus looked up and said, “Father, I thank you that you have heard me. 42 I knew that you always hear me, but I said this for the benefit of the people standing here, that they may believe that you sent me.” 43 When he had said this, Jesus called in a loud voice, “Lazarus, come out!” 44 The dead man came out, his hands and feet wrapped with strips of linen, and a cloth around his face. Jesus said to them, “Take off the grave clothes and let him go.” I used the analogy of Jesus calling Lazarus' name because it was like Unlocking His Hidden Treasure, yet he was still ‘stuck’ because the scripture stated that ‘the dead man came out, his hand and feet wrapped with strips of linen, and a cloth around his face.’ However, when Jesus said to them, “Take off the grave clothes and let him go,” it released him into his greatness and fullness. It’s time to Release Your Hidden Treasure and Continue to Shine. Read these stories from these phenomenal women as they share their stories and be inspired and encouraged!
