It is not compatible with fans that do not already have the required receiver pre-installed. Additionally, this kit serves as a replacement for the Hunter 85112 receiver, as the old Hunter remote will not function with this receiver. This kit includes everything you need for a straightforward installation. It consists of the FAN-2R receiver unit with a 9-prong female plug that directly connects to your ceiling fan, along with the UC7078T with reverse remote control. For added convenience, a wall mount clip is also included, providing a handy storage solution for the remote. Most kits do not have the correct plugs on the light wires but the MFP kit is correct.
