Waiting is the process of being purified and prepared in God's holy fire. Most believe “I am waiting on God” to do something, to say something, to be something for him or her. The truth is waiting is the purification and perfection of love between two. Two hearts, souls and lives become one as they yield to the One in the pure fire. Most of the time, God is waiting on us, to be ready, to hear, to trust, to be ready and yield. God is a consuming fire, the pure burning fire of His jealous love. In the process of yielding to His fire, we become fully His. We become perfected in His love. Every king in God’s Word and in any nation or society that has led people and continued without falling away into deception and evil, ALL were led through a process, of waiting. God’s positioning of His leaders who stayed, and kept a good heart, were led through fire, to prepare them to govern with His heart. Abram. Moses. Joshua & Caleb. Noah. King David. King Hezekiah. Jesus. Peter. Most leaders who are formed to know God’s heart as a leader, became deeply aware of their own vulnerability and great need of His wisdom and assistance at all times. They have been positioned by God (before their time as a king) to be persecuted and attacked primarily by leaders they are serving under or those they are sent to serve. This is how the Lord tests our hearts to determine if we will maintain His heart and purity to lay our lives down to serve as His king or whether we will lord over others in pride. The ones who became the Lord’s great kings with His heart went lower and loved more. Through the process of fire their hearts were formed to love people and serve those above, around and under them with His heart. In the midst of deep betrayal, they now love; when they are cut, they lay their lives down more. A true leader has to go through His fire. The fire happens through trials and testing and waiting. There are ways to wait well and ways to delay the waiting and remove ourselves from the process all together. God has chosen each of His people to be His kings and priests, leaders with His heart, leaders who lay their lives down as Jesus did, to serve those we lead. The waiting process is the perfecting of His love, the proving of our hearts. In order for us to maintain His heart of purity, holiness, integrity and righteousness, and be preserved by Him as a king with His heart, we have to yield to the process of waiting. There is much more to grow in and much more to say. This book is just a first step and an initiation. My journey since writing this one has been more fire than I’ve ever experienced in my life. I have found, that if God gives me a mountain, in prayer, or in the natural, it probably means I will be rejected, persecuted, unwanted, and cut. It means I must follow the Lord humbly, whether to stay or go. Whatever He says, I say yes. It means I regardless if He says to stay or go, I humble myself, lay my life down, go lower, in praying and fasting in secret for others, love, speak evil of no man, and honor all people. The devil will deceive people in pride to set someone up before they are ready. This will destroy people. When we wait and go through the fire of God’s positioning process of waiting, then when we are ready and it is time, no devil or human being including myself, can stop it. I am not where I want to be yet, but I have my face set like flint in pursuit to allow the Lord to lead me lower, down the path Jesus went, who laid down His life for others in humility. That’s my desire and pursuit, and by His grace and mercy when He knows I’m ready, I’ll be a safe place for a husband and any other mountain the Lord has or desires to give me.
