It’s been two weeks since the Nephilim Tamiel kidnapped a dragon and forced the rest of the Barrington Hills tribe into hiding. For Becca, it’s been two weeks of exhausting research and even more tiring self-doubt. When enigmatic beasts attack their sanctuary, Lewis and Becca make the difficult decision to leave the safety of the Sorcerous Peaks and seek out the source of these creatures. If even their hidden mountain refuge could be breached, they fear what might happen to dragons left exposed out in the world. It isn’t long before they make a chilling discovery: dragons aren’t the only ones being targeted. The humans of Barrington Hills are in as much danger as their dragon counterparts. A familiar face has flown to the defense of the humans, but even he isn’t enough to hold back the monsters forever. Becca has to find a way to stop the beasts, before they’re overrun.
