Bob's journey as a published author began with his first book DRIVE THE SUN (DTS). DTS was followed by his second book, SOLAR MOBILITY, (Republished here in its larger, more readable 8.5" x 11" format), then his third, OFF THE GRID, (Also recenty republished in a larger, more readable 8.5" x 11" format). His solar powered prose was, continues to be inspired by his pre-ordered Launch Edition APTERA sEV and the positively charged YouTube Channel, DRIVE THE LIGHTNING DTS began with an Aptera prose simply called “My Aptera.” It was written, then posted on the DRIVE THE LIGHTNING YouTube Channel August 13th, 2022. I pre-ordered my solar powered Aptera in April of 2022. I continually searched for updates after pre-ordering it, wanting to learn more of Aptera’s progress, production timeline, and eventual delivery, That resulted in my discovery of Chad & Sarah Monroe’s DRIVE THE LIGHTNING (DTL) YouTube Channel. The first words for the first Aptera prose, “My Aptera” came from a growing excitement and endearment of the vehicle shared on and by the DRIVE THE LIGHTNING YouTube Channel. I continued writing new prose with a drive that was fed by the enthusiasm of other future Aptera owners seen in videos created and hosted by the fun, joyful and informative (DTL) dynamic duo of Chad & Sarah Monroe.
