Uniformly apply TOPSITE 2.5G herbicide with properly calibrated ground equipment, includ- ing hand-held spreaders, at a rate of 200 to 300 lbs. product per acre (0.45-0.67 lb./100 sq. ft.). Application with a spoon, a pump-feed backpack spreader or a gravity-feed backpack spreader is prohibited. TOPSITE 2.5G herbicide is recommended for control of many annual and perennial grasses and broadleaf weeds on cropland areas such as railroad, utility, pipeline and highway rights-of-way, petroleum tank farms, pumping installations, fence rows, storage areas, non-cropland farmsteads and other similar areas. TOPSITE 2.5G herbicide may be applied at any time throughout the year; however, for maximum effectiveness, the product should be applied prior to weed emergence or when weeds are small. In addition, TOPSITE 2.5G herbicide should be applied prior to expected rainfall. The degree and duration of control of Kochia and other weed species will depend upon the amount of product applied, the amount of rainfall, soil texture, and other environmental and biological factors.
