In 1925, in Balboa Park in San Diego, astrologer Marc Edmund Jones and clairvoyant Elsie Wheeler collaborated in an unusual experiment. Wheeler, seated in a parked car due to physical limitations, provided symbolic images for each degree of the zodiac as Jones randomly presented them. The resulting 360 images became known as the Sabian Symbols. These symbols were not originally offered as fixed predictions.
