When Asmodeus, the Prince of Lust, leads an assault against the Angelic Response Council's Tomb of Ancient Documents, every member of the Council becomes vulnerable to attack due to the information stolen. It's the first foray in his Dark War against the Council, and later, the entire human race. Only Sage Alexander and his fellow warriors can stop what's coming, but he's forced to fight through horrible grief after another attack leaves several Council members dead. The hunt for Asmodeus leads Sage to a race of beings willing to join him in his quest to stop the prince, not only to save humanity but themselves as well. All is going as planned until the Dark War spills into the Human Realm, and the shadowy veil that has hidden the Seven Princes of Hell from the world is torn away.
