Our proprietary shoe sanitizing insert is unlike any other on the market and was Invented solely for SaniStride when founded in 2011. Our triple-layered insert is made of 2 pieces of a quality indoor/outdoor carpet (made in the USA) with a spongy material sandwiched in between that is capable of holding a gallon plus of liquid for immediate injection deep into the shoe treads and crevices when stepped on. Compared to the multitude of cheaper, copy mats that hit the market in 2020, the durability, and more importantly, the functionality of a SaniStride mat is unmet in shoe sanitizing applications. Please be advised that for some heavy industrial and commercial shoe sanitizing mat uses especially in food production, farm and agriculture, our original Stride 1″ deep base-mat with a 1” thick insert included might be better suited than the Low Pro 1/2″ deep mat for disinfecting shoes.
