Ward Snyder has had a lifelong infatuation with sharks. In his younger days, rarely did a day go by in which the thought of the apex predator didn't cross his mind. Over the years, he's fished for them in the turquoise blue waters off the Bahamas and he's always had a desire to share the stories of his most memorable shark encounters. In addition to those precarious adventures, he played collegiate tennis, golf, and managed to earn a living in the world of commercial real estate. He realized he had other absorbing stories to tell regarding the most dangerous sharks of all—those on land. In a recent interview, Ward said, "Although land sharks don't intend intend to devour one's flesh, most want to dominate and win at all costs. I feel like I've been living in shark tank most of my life and that I've faced the shark trifecta—ocean sharks, sports sharks and business sharks. I've come across them all and in several cases, managed to literally escape with my life! I couldn't go to the grave knowing I had so many interesting and hair-raising stories to share with others." So he put pen to paper and has finally published the stories in the form of a memoir, to include a number of hard lessons learned. Buckle up for an entertaining ride!
