I spent the first seventeen years of my life living and working on a ranch. In my last year of high school, I couldn’t wait to spread my wings and experience something different. That is when I enrolled in a trade school in Denver, Colorado. Moving to a big city was scary but exciting at the same time. While attending school I was a janitor at a horse racetrack, a delivery driver for an electronic distributor, and an office machine repairman. Returned to ranching for seven years and then Nancy and I purchased an insurance agency in Livingston, Montana which we ran for six years. We then purchased an insurance District in Idaho Falls, Idaho. We managed the district for nineteen years and then sold it. Following the sale of the district I became an employee, as a district marketing manager in Denver, Colorado. In nineteen ninety nine we retired and traveled , in our fifth wheel, for over a year and then settled in Meridian, Idaho near our family. We then started a consulting company which we managed for three years, then painted the interior and exterior of houses for several years, and I worked as a handyman in the area. In this book I share many of the adventures and experiences we had over the past eighty years.
