blah blah blah Marion OMalley was born into a family where both of her parents wrote for fun and profit. Growing of age in the sixties in the South, her interests in diversity and nonviolent communication led to a thirty-year career in peace education. She started the NC Center for Peace Education in 1984, served on the board of Educators for Social Responsibility, and received the country's first National Grassroots Citizen Peacemaker Award. Shopping With Mama: Write 'Til the End is her first memoir, in which she humorously describes how she utilized her peacemaking skills with her diametrically opposite mother, author Mena Webb, for more than a decade.
