In today's society, there are many controversies a person could engage in. The Roman Catholic Faith is no exception. Ever since the changes made to the Catholic religion, beginning with the Vatican II Council in the 1960s, Catholicism has been in a perpetual state of controversy, chaos, and decline. This work will focus on the religion of Catholicism and will compare and contrast the traditional Catholic religion (before Vatican II) with the "new" Catholic religion also known as the Novus Ordo "Catholic" religion, which resulted from the Vatican II Council. The compare and contrast will answer this crucial question: Is the Novus Ordo (New Order) Religion of Vatican II the same religion as the traditional Catholic Religion? This work will first define what the Catholic Church is, according to its perennial teaching. Then it will point out at least 36 places in the Vatican II documents which contradict perennial Catholic doctrine. Then it will compare and contrast the "New Mass" of Paul VI with the Traditional Latin Mass and determine if these two liturgies represent the same religion. The work will also demonstrate the "fruit" of the New Mass and all of its changes, and determine if that has increased or decrease the Catholic Faith in general. This work will also compare and contrast the traditional Seven Sacraments of the Church with the new Sacraments which were revised by Paul VI. Additional analyses will cover the New American Bible and whether or not it is acceptable for Catholics, the New Catechism of the Catholic Church (CCC) and whether or not it represents the true Catholic Faith, the changes to the Rosary, the new Rite of Exorcism and whether or not it is effective, the new Divine Mercy devotion and whether or not it is truly Catholic, the Catholic Charismatic Renewal and if it is compatible with Catholic doctrine, the Catholic-Lutheran Joint Declaration on Justification of 1999 and whether or not it contradicts the Council of Trent, the overall consequences of the Vatican II Council and statistical analysis, and lastly the prophecies concerning the decline of the Catholic Faith and the infiltration of the enemies of the Church into the Church. This one volume will cover most of the main controversies of the Catholic Faith and will demonstrate whether or not we are dealing with one Catholic religion that merely had a "makeover" or if we are dealing with two incompatible religions.
