Dr. Deepak Chopra told Ulrike if she wanted to heal, she had to learn to sing and speak up. Since then, and for the past 25 years, Ulrike has been singing, teaching, healing, and performing for thousands, passionately showing us how to use the full power of our voice—for health, happiness, vitality, and the sheer joy of self expression. "Every parent can do it (as well) to help their children. Kids oftentimes need support to change their state, but they have no tools or skills to do that. And this is something they can do in 7 seconds before a test, before they're going to have to stand up in class and talk or whatever it might be." ~ Jack Canfield, Best-Selling Author "I think this is brilliant work. Thank you for creating it, thank you for wanting to share it with the world. I really encourage everyone to take advantage of this. It's so simple, and so profound. I was working with it the last few days and it made a huge difference in my life." ~ Jack Canfield, Best-Selling Author "I promise you this is a skill that everybody should have, just like brushing your teeth." ~ Jack Canfield, Best-Selling Author The world around me fell silent. I stood frozen, Deepak Chopra's words echoing in my head: "You have thyroid cancer." Was I going to die? I was only 32! I felt fear in every cell of my body. Deepak continued: "Ulrike, I've known you for years, and you never speak up. Now your throat is blocked. If you want to heal, you need to free your voice and sing!" That was it. I decided to sing myself well! My Ma sent me voice lessons from Germany. I listened to hundreds of singers, and watched how they moved, what they did with their faces and breath. I hummed along and slowly learned a few arias. Soon I gave small concerts, and at 48 I stood on the stage for the first time, singing solo arias with an orchestra. People wondered what I had done to heal myself. I always recommend singing holistically to enliven the seven qualities of wellness: awareness, relaxation, alignment, expansion, flow, power, and energy. Singing this way helps when someone feels stuck in their life: Divorce, death of loved ones, financial struggles, kids out of the home, relationship or career change. Over the past 20 years, I've been teaching people through my book, in sessions, and my online course how anyone can save themselves from any pain they go through. We can all create flow in both body and life to feel more empowered, confident, and freer, in seconds. Jack Canfield tried it, and said: "This is a skill everybody should have, just like brushing your teeth." Imagine not brushing your teeth! I invite you to treat your voice as the healing instrument it is designed to be, then, teach your kids, so you can each create flow by gently humming to yourself a few times a day.
