Things to be note before you purchase this product
1.Make sure your outlet pipe length is anywhere from 1 1/2" to 2 7/8"
2.Make sure you have a 1/2" Copper Pipe(5/8" Outer Diameter)
3.Since the housing slips on the pipe and is sealed with an O-ring against leakage, so the copper tube needs to be clean and smooth, we have sent a sheet of sandpaper in the package in case you need to clean
The slip-on installation was a breeze
1.Twist the tub spout until the set screw is exposed and loosen the screw with the hex wrench. Then pull the old bathtub spout off.
2.Check the copper pipe to be clean and smooth. USE THE INCLUDED SANDPAPER if in need.
3.Loosen the screw of the new tub spout, take the new diverter line the hole up with the copper pipe and slide it over.
4.Tighten the set screw with the hex wrench and twist the tub spout to proper place.
