Slo-Poke wanted to spend a lazy afternoon with his cousin basking on the rocks. But then Rabbit came and needed his help to protect the Warren against Copperhead. Working together with other animals from the forest, they race against the clock to repair the boundary. J. Carter Crumpton was born in Southern California and grew up in San Diego, Chicago, Iceland, Germany, and Arkansas. He lives in Northwest Arkansas with his wife, his cat, and her dog. Les Shufelt spent much of his time outdoors with his family, telling tall tales and entertaining while holding a fishing pole in his hand or sitting around a campfire. He retired in Northwest Arkansas. Lea Parette was born and raised in Xiamen, China, a small island located on the Taiwanese Strait, and speaks fluent Mandarin Chinese. She currently resides in Northwest Arkansas.
