Aluminum signs are rigid, lightweight, durable and weatherproof. Unlike steel signs, aluminum signs do not rust and have an outdoor life of at least 10 years. Signs are printed from UV-resistant inks which prevent fading during long-term outdoor use. These aluminum signs are coated for greater protection and extended product life. STOP Tank Car Connected Railroad Sign is protected by 2-mil high-gloss UV polyester over-laminate film that is ideal for outdoor use. These signs withstand almost anything from washdowns and inclement weather to chemical splashes. The sign has a service temperature range of -20°F to 140°F.
