With a long career in theater and publishing, author Webster Bull today is a writer of institutional histories. He began his publishing career by founding Memoirs Unlimited in 1988, helping elderly people write and privately publish their life stories. In 1998, he and his wife Katie Bull founded Commonwealth Editions, a publisher of nonfiction books about Boston, Cape Cod, and other New England destinations. Meanwhile, Webster focused on writing projects for families and larger organizations. The Mass General history, begun in 2007, is the most ambitious in this line of writing projects.
