Little did I know that I would have a ringside seat to numerous history-making events as a member of NASA's Mission Control Team. I landed a job at a new television station in Austin, Texas, looking for something larger. During this same time, the U.S. space program moved key operations to my hometown Houston. As space exploration talk continued to build. I was caught up in the excitement, so I traveled to Houston to find the right NASA department and land a job. The following years brought me an opportunity, adventure, and incredible experiences.
