This cap blocks off one of the suction strainers on pools with dual suctions. This creates more suction on the single strainer for use with a vacuum or skimmer attachment requiring more suction than normal especiially with weaker Intex pumps. New design features a oring for a tight seal for blocking off water flow when changing hoses or working on the pump. Fits pools with 1.25" hose with a 3-3/16" diameter strainer connector. Please measure your connector before ordering. These fittings are commonly found on the Intex Easy Set ,Frame Set, Simple Set, Quick Set and Prism series. Also fits Bestway pools using the 11070 connector. Newer pools use a 11070 part number that is marked on the fitting behind the strainer, older pools use a larger diameter connector that still used 1.25" hose but wont fit our nozzle. Will not fit 1.5" hose fittings. Simple swap installation. Rotate old one off and put new one on. Some strainers have a small screw that needs removed before the cover will twist off.
