Dr. Kennedy has published several articles and presented at many professional conferences in Biomedical Engineering and Engineering.  Dr. Kennedy was the co-founder, President and CEO of the start-up company, Restorative Biosciences Inc., an early stage company that focuses on developing anti-fouling, anti-inflammatory coatings and therapeutics for ophthalmic applications. During this time, he served on the Arizona Bioindustry Association Greater Phoenix Board as the Workforce Development Committee Co-Chair.   He is currently the Chair and Associate Professor of the Biomedical Engineering Technology Program at DeVry University, Phoenix and former Adjunct Faculty of Bioengineering at Arizona State University.  During Dr. Kennedy's graduate studies he studied biocomplexity, nonlinear processing and complex adaptive systems both at ASU and at Dartmouth.  Later he studied a New Kind of Science at Brown University with Stephen Wolfram, creator of Mathematica.   Earlier in his career, Mr. Kennedy helped establish Silicon Valley operations of VI Technology, Inc., an Austin based automation technology consulting firm.  He was responsible for acquiring, developing and managing consulting projects, integrating hardware and software applications for high-end test and automation systems for cross-discipline technologies.  Prior, he worked in various engineering design, testing and astronaut training capacities at NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston Texas.   From his scientific training and academic study, Dr. Kennedy is building a pathway model for those who desire to reconcile scientific logic and discovery with purposeful existence in his first book, an in depth look at how scientific evidence and spiritual philosophy are merging.
