In 2011, a huge disaster had occurred in Japan. A major earthquake and a TZUNAMI had hit the country hard. My children's book deals about this disaster, the people in Japan, their families, and how they overcame this great misfortune. At that time, Japan received donations and material goods from all over the world. Even people from all parts of the world came and off ered their help to us. We still feel so much gratitude for that and we would like to thank you again. The story of my children's book: Lara is a girl who loves to draw. One day, when the TZUNAMI came, Lara was hurt very badly. When she was in hospital, she heard that her parents had died because of the TZUNAMI. Lara herself could no longer walk. What a terrible situation she found herself in. But she absolutely had to go on living. Then one day she read a poem that totally changed her attitude towards life. She decided to live strongly, also for the sake of her parents. Her hope was painting. She went to rehabilitation and worked intensively on painting. Through an encounter she started her life anew and strong. What was this encounter, what changed her and what made her take control of her life? That is what my children's book is about.
