Four bright teenage girls from St. George's, an international school in Rome, put their lives on the line when they utilize their school banquet to help save a baby rhinoceros from a bankrupt Italian zoo. Inspired by a local zookeeper's story as an African game warden, the girls set a plan in motion when they discovered the zoo's new director was a poacher and had bad intentions set for the zoo. Each girl is powerful, and they use their unique talents, ingenuity, and diverse friendship to outsmart the director's evil intentions. The catacombs will awaken as the girls utilize ancient Roman ruins and the city's streets as their battleground, turning the story of St. George upside down to save a baby rhino. Matthew Paskus shares a culmination of his life experiences as he tells the story of St. George's Rhino. In 1966, his father decided to take a job with an American newspaper in Rome, Italy, resulting in his family moving overseas. Matt attended St. George's International School and walked up and down the Spanish Steps virtually every day on his way to meet the bus for school. He frequented the Bioparco di Roma zoo, walked the same streets the girls did, played soccer, and watched puppet shows in the Villa Borghese, just as Arhaan and Armaan did. He was also rewarded with ice cream for rescuing a kid from underneath a merry-go-round, as Arhaan and Armaan did. Later, he attended Avon Old Farms School and set his sights on Seattle, Washington, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree from Seattle University. He also attended Huxley College, where he focused on environmental resources and geography, earning a Master of Science degree from Western Washington University in Bellingham, Washington. Matt raised his two children, Alexandra and Elizabeth, alongside his wife, Tamra, who passed away from cancer in 2019. Currently, Matt now lives in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and has remarried. How are ratings calculated?
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.
