Stanley Finnigan is a normal seventh grade kid in a quiet town. He has to deal with the regular stresses of middle school life, like tests, teachers, and Trevor, the school bully. Stan’s best friends, Richey and Betsy, help him get through the daily grind, but an embarrassing encounter with Trevor in Science class leaves him humiliated. To make matters worse, Bryan, the newest dork in school, is thrown into his group Science project. Everything takes a turn for the strange when a mysterious space ship intercepts the kids on their way home from school. Stan and his friends quickly find themselves attempting to complete a week-long race through the Universe to recover four unique relics. He has to overcome furry birds, space slugs, asteroid fields, and giant robots in this life-or-death mission to return home. Stan and his friends need to learn how to work together in order to survive the seemingly insurmountable odds set before them. Dan Cuoco is a writer and teacher living in Denver, CO. Originally from Madison, CT, Dan graduated from the University of Delaware before moving to Baltimore, Maryland. There, he worked as a 4th and 5th grade special educator. Dan then moved to Denver, CO to pursue a life dream, living in the mountain west. He enjoys skiing, mountain biking, hiking, camping, and the weather with friends.
