On an isolated hilltop in Muskingum County, Ohio, ten stone statues stood hidden in the woods for decades.Presidents Washington, Lincoln, McKinley, Garfield, Grant, Harding and Theodore Roosevelt shared the hill with Civil War generals Sherman and McPherson as well as a WWI doughboy. These are the sculptures of Brice Baughman, an undertaker and self-taught stonecarver. Between the late 1800s and early 1900s, Brice carved these larger-than-life statues out of native sandstone. Now, a century later, the park and Brice's unique statues have all but been forgotten. "Statues on the Hill" brings this story alive with over 100 photographs and illustrations.
