A devastating hurricane. A time travel betrayal. Will Ronnie survive the witch hunt or forever be lost in time? Stealing Time is the first book in the best-selling "Breathtakingly original" time travel series that will keep you on the edge of your seat! As Hurricane Charley churns a path of destruction towards Orlando, Florida, Ronnie Andrews scrambles to prepare for the storm and seeks shelter at her boyfriend’s weather lab. What she finds there is more terrifying than Mother Nature's destruction. During the peak of the hurricane, Ronnie is hurtled back in time to eighteenth-century London, where she is caught in a web of superstition, deception, and lies in a life and death struggle to return to her own time. Her best friend Steph is thrust into the middle of the hurricane, where it quickly turns into a living nightmare as she is faced with losing everything. Stealing Time is the first book in the “breathtakingly original” Stealing Time Series of time travel wrapped in a hurricane. If you like strong-willed modern women and gripping stories that transport you back in time, then you’ll love KJ Water's Books. Don’t miss the next book in the series, Shattering Time, set during Hurricane Frances tossing Ronnie back to the Lost Colony of Roanoke Island in a fight for her life and for those facing the mysterious disappearance of our first colony in America. Killing Time - Book 3 finds Ronnie escaping Hurricane Ivan to head on a business trip with her attractive boss Mike, only to find the time travelling does not quit with her change in location. Hints of her father's hand in the time traveling force Ronnie to dig into his past to find the clues that lead to a horrifying discovery. Reviews “The book is filled with nail-biting tension and kept me reading well into the night to find out what happened.” Diane Rapp, Amazon Reviewer. “Amid witch hunts, leering men, and a frightening fate, Ronnie finds love and hope.” Rosemary McFarland, Amazon Reviewer. “K J Waters has struck the perfect balance of science fiction, historical fact thriller with a wonderful sense of humor and even a little romance.” Scott McLean, Amazon Reviewer. "As a time travel story, this one is outstanding. The mechanism that transfers the heroine, Ronnie back in time is in the realm of science fiction, i.e., credible, but not belabored. Thus, this is not true science fiction fodder, but more in the realm for those who love historical fiction since the majority of the story takes place in 18th Century England. I highly recommend this well-written story to anyone who loves a thriller, historical fiction or romanticizes the past. Believe me when I say we have come much farther than you may think.” 5x Space Cadette, Amazon Reviewer. Past and Present Fused. Great Writing! JennieAre our souls continuous between lives in time and space? Are we irresistibly drawn to those past times and places? Stealing Time explores these questions through an exciting, fast-paced adventure of time travel from current day Florida in the midst of a hurricane to 16th century London. The past is awful for women and those designated witches in particular. The rule of religion over law is rampant and the detailed description of the experience of those times makes one very happy to be living in the present. The characters are well developed with even the basest of persons appearing to have some degree of morality in intention. The science presented as the cause of the time travel is sketchy at best and really unbelievable. Fortunately, it is not the focus of the story. The ending that a few reviews have mentioned as unsatisfactory is perfect as a means to urge the reader to eagerly await the final book in the series. This is good writing. I will happily buy the sequel, Shattering Time, to find out how this saga ends. Will Mathias and Regina, aka Ronnie, find each other again? Is love stronger than death? An absolute five star read! During a hurricane in Florida, Ronnie is hurtled back in time to eighteenth-century London and occupies the body of a real woman. She must learn how to survive the "witch hunt" mentality of her cruel brother while she tries to find a way back home. How did this happen? Her best friend Steph faces peril of a different kind--the wrath of a killer storm. She gathers a small group together and tries to keep them all alive. The book is filled with nailbiting tension and kept me reading well into the night to find out what happened. Recommended! My writing is inspired by a love of history mixed with a vivid imagination and the time travel elements in the Outlander Series by Diana Gabaldon. I came up with the setting for this series after moving to Florida in 2004 three days before Hurricane Charley struck the gulf coast and over the next six weeks was hit
