He is an Eagle Scout and is currently a Venture Crew Scout Leader for the BSA. He was honored as a member of Who's Who in America among High School students. Chad has also served as a mentor for the SafetyNet program (similar to "Big Brothers"). He lives in Saratoga Springs, Utah.
