Victory is not a thing of the past Opposition in spiritual warfare is real—but so is victory. Through the writings of Nehemiah, this book reveals how God’s people can still overcome resistance, rebuild what has been broken, and walk in spiritual authority today. In less than 52 days, Nehemiah rebuilt the walls of Jerusalem, united a discouraged people, restored righteousness in the land of Israel, and sparked spiritual revival—all while facing intense public scrutiny and opposition. How was such an extraordinary victory possible? Strategy: A Divine Blueprint for Spiritual Battles explores the spiritual and strategic principles that guided Nehemiah to success and shows how those same principles remain available to believers today. Prayer, silence, discernment, preparation, intercession, and perseverance were not optional in Nehemiah’s time—and they are still essential now. This Bible commentary offers a thoughtful study of the Book of Nehemiah, analyzing the strategic behavior that empowered him to fulfill God’s calling. More importantly, it challenges today’s Christians to become spiritual strategists—believers who act with wisdom, obedience, and purpose in the midst of opposition. In this book, you will discover: • The historical background of Nehemiah’s time and why his mission mattered • Why becoming a spiritual strategist is essential for believers today • How to work in cooperation with the Holy Spirit and others engaged in spiritual battles • The power of silence, preparation, and discernment • How to recognize spiritual opposition and respond with wisdom and faith • How you are part of God’s plan—and how to serve using the skills God has already given you Today’s Christians are still called to rebuild, stand firm, and serve faithfully. The strategies that led to victory in Nehemiah’s time can still lead to victory today. During her academic journey, Marion Crackower studied history, geography, and archaeology, all of which have equipped her with the necessary skills to delve into the complexities of biblical texts. She graduated in 2000 with a major in History (emphasis on Antiquity). She spent six months at the French School of Archaeology in Athens, Greece, where she conducted historical and epigraphic research in Ancient Greek. She became an Elementary School teacher in 2002 and remained in the classroom for thirteen years in France and the USA. However, her love for History, archaeology, and the Bible never faded. In 2012, Marion took a class at Oxford University, England, titled "The Archaeology of Bible Lands" with archaeologist Bjørnar Storfjell, a specialist on Israel and Palestine archaeology. She graduated in 2015 with a Ph.D. in Francophone Studies, for which she wrote a dissertation based on literary and historical research. Dr Crackower is now a Senior Instructor at a university, where she teaches undergraduate classes and doctoral seminars and conducts research. As of 2024, she has published over ten articles in academic reviews and presented papers at a dozen international conferences. Today, she wishes to utilize all the skills she learned and developed for the LORD'S WORK in studying biblical texts. Strategy is the result of all this.
