Inspired by Van Gogh's love of the city's community, Laura Owens' Arles-based residency project sees a house-cum-studio transformed into a living work of art Published with LUMA Arles. Conceived by American artist Laura Owens, the Studio of the South residency invited 23 international artists to live and work in a house in the center of Arles, drawing on the spirit of the artistic community dear to Vincent van Gogh during his sojourn in the city.
