There is something special about Sugar Cane Valley; a rich history of folklore and superstitious beliefs that flow through the veins of those who live there. Some villagers claim they've seen a churile lurking around to get her revenge, while others are certain that a saapin lives among them. They even swear beyond a shadow of a doubt that a young wife had given birth to a raakhas child. One fisherman on the other side of the village, believes he had an encounter with a mermaid, but knows that mermaids don't really exist...or do they? Another fisherman's life is in chaos after he fishes out an oil lamp and finds a mischievous jinni inside who grant wishes. There is also the mysterious sorceress who is feared by everyone because she can invoke any spirit, good or bad, to carry out her deeds.
