The citizens of Loradale have long been aware of the magical creatures that come alive during the Sunflower Solstice. It's a time of the year when all of the realm turns yellow and gold and the flowers have a mind of their own!! You may not always see the dryads or water puddle fairies... but they can definitely see you. They might even throw a seed or an acorn as you walk past. The sunflowers though are the absolute WORST!! If you get too close, they will bite you and have a giggle as you are running away. They will never hurt you, of course... they are only mischievous little beasts who find themselves quite funny. The sunflower fields are close to the magical village where the Teaspoon Fairies and all the Loradalian Chibis live. It's still sunny and warm here. You haven't reached the Winterlands yet. Most villages are filled with fields of flowers that seem to go on forever. It's easy to get lost and lose track of time. Usually, the dragonflies are willing to help guide you back though, if you ask nicely! We recommend bringing a snack just in case you decide to explore. Don't touch the sunflowers though, they are terrible pranksters. As you walk along Chrysanthemum Crossing , you might hear their tiny voices laughing and singing, just always be careful! Once you cross into Bordertown you may not ever want to come back to the regular, boring world but you are definitely on the right path home.
