The Concept Superteam: The League of Professional Heroism is an action comedy that merges the world of sports with the world of superheroes. Instead of professional sports, this world has professional heroism. The LPH has one Superteam in each major city tasked with protecting it’s citizens. Superheroes are placed on Superteams through the LPH draft or free agency. Superteams have practices, film study and training regimens. Superheroes have agents, endorsement deals, and experience both praise and criticism from the superhero media industry, while trying to live up to the expectations of their fans. The Story Nitro is an ultra competitive superhero with ice powers who is obsessed with becoming the greatest hero of all time, and might have to cross some moral lines to get there. Will he succeed or will he be crushed by his own ego? Marcus “The Lion” Holloway is the most powerful superhero on earth, but still hasn’t earned the respect of his critics because he has not yet earned a ring by saving the earth. He is labeled a choker by the media because he is unwilling to kill his enemies. Will Marcus crumble under the pressure of living up to the world’s expectations of him, or will he prove that he has what it takes win in clutch moments. Coach Belevich is an evil genius who intends on conquering the planet with a group of elite intergalactic supervillains. He is also a former hero who happened to be Nitro’s former coach, and they have lots of unfinished business. This book is the first of what will be a mutli-part series!
