Bird Girl Savannah Bird Girl Bird Girl Large Savannah Bird Girl Large Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil Statue Large Bird Girl was sculpted by Sylvia Shaw Judson in 1936 and made famous by the best selling non-fiction novel and movie by the same name, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil by John Berendt. After the release of the book, the original statue was removed from the Bonaventure Cemetery in Savannah, GA and currently resides in a museum in downtown Savannah. Bird Girl has become one of the most recognized sculptures in America.
